Reliable, affordable, and flexible travel options are more important than ever, and we are making it easier for students, commuters, and budget-conscious travellers to stay connected.
With these new routes, we’re expanding connections between key university towns, major urban centers, and regional transit hubs, giving travellers more choices beyond flying or driving. Whether it’s a student heading home for the weekend, a commuter traveling between cities, or a leisure traveler exploring a new destination, FlixBus is making long-distance travel more accessible, sustainable, and stress-free.

Increasing Demand for Bus Travel
FlixBus has reported increased ridership across its network, with a 7.5% year-over-year rise during the winter holiday season. A recent report from the Chaddick Institute projects a 4% growth in US bus travel in 2025, surpassing expectations for airline and car travel.
Rising airfare costs and demand for economical transport options continue to contribute to the growth of intercity bus travel.
Frayter noted:
There’s a shift happening in how people think about travel. It’s no longer just about getting from one place to another; it’s about affordability, convenience, and making smarter choices. We’re building a network that reflects what travelers want today: reliable, stress-free transportation that fits their budget and their lifestyle.
